Michelle Yee, one of the founding members of photography collective SOFIA (Society of Females in Art) discusses the benefits of joining a collective. Balancing her time between San Francisco, New York and Toronto, having the support of a community of colleagues transformed Michelle’s life and helped her grow as an artist. Now she wants to give back by sharing her insights with image-makers on the cusp of their careers.
