Video Editor

A video editor is involved in the post-production of a film or TV shoot and works at advertising or interactive agencies, production companies, film houses, etc. Video editors review raw footage and select which shots to use in a film sequence, then use dialogue, sound effects and music to complete that sequence. In larger companies, video editors work with audio engineers, producers and coordinators. They are technically inclined and use a variety of software, monitors and mixing stations.
