The Algonquin College School of Media and Design is an innovative and forward thinking learning environment that fosters independent decision-making, self-expression, technology and teamwork; taught by experts in their industries and matched with real-word projects and real clients. Our trailblazing programs prepare students to thrive in global, dynamic and multi-faceted industry environments.

The School offers 23 programs that range from one year certificates to diplomas and advanced diplomas, to bachelor and collaborative degrees, to graduate certificates.

Our programs are flexible, engaging and profoundly applicable in today’s communication and design industries, providing our students with the tools, technology, and creative problem solving skills required to excel in today’s digital world.

In addition to its current offerings, the School of Media and Design is constantly developing new diploma, graduate certificate and applied degree programs that reflect the changes in evolving communications and design industries.

Our teachers have industry experience. They’re connected to today’s solutions and tomorrow’s challenges. They are dedicated and encourage students to network and develop professional relationships with industry professionals throughout their postsecondary education journey.

Each program has an advisory committee that is made up of industry professionals who ensure our programs are forward thinking. They keep us up to date with industry trends and are able to make real time suggestions to program curriculum.
